Subject: As good an AUD as you can generally expect

The show has its incandescent moments, but is marred by the characteristic 78 laziness and off-key, over-the-top silliness.

When I listened to the first show of 1978, I thought, Wow, maybe January was a better than average month for this year. Not so much. It's like they blew most of their mojo-wad for the entire year on that one show.

Subject: Funny

Just about any show they bust out Franklin's towards the end of the show is a ripper. This one is no exception, sound could be a little better, but it's still quite listenable. The show really starts with the BE Women, a bit subdued before that.....
